Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned PMO Leader in the Washington, DC area to oversee SAP transformation programs. You will drive governance, reporting, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams, leveraging Jira, Azure DevOps, and Power BI to ensure timely delivery.

You will mentor junior practitioners, coordinate phase gates, and apply automation and GenAI to enhance visibility and governance, with travel up to 100% as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years total professional experience in SAP project environments, IT consulting, or enterprise transformation.
• Minimum of 5 years experience supporting or leading SAP programs in a PMO or project management capacity.
• Experience coordinating phase gate and readiness activities across multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency with PMO toolsets: Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PMO function or program management workstream, ensuring governance, reporting, planning, and stakeholder management.
• Establish and improve tools, governance processes, and reporting structures aligned with SAP delivery practices.
• Coordinate phase gates, readiness activities, and evidence tracking across workstreams to close gaps.
• Coach and develop team members, remove obstacles, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Develop integrated plans, dashboards, risk registers, and status reports for transparency.
• Apply AI/GenAI capabilities to modernize PMO operations and improve delivery efficiency.
• Monitor program metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Travel up to 100% based on client engagement requirements.
