Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced SAP Production Planning specialist to lead end-to-end S/4 HANA ePPDS and iPPE implementations in a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Dearborn, MI and across regions to transform legacy processes and optimize planning, scheduling, and master data integration.

Requirements include 13+ years in SAP PP, 2+ full S/4 HANA/Fiori life cycles, and strong agile/project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Electrical Eng or related field or equivalent experience.
• 13+ years of functional/technical SAP PP experience.
• 4+ years designing end-to-end processes in S/4 HANA ePPDS and iPPE.
• Experience in automotive/manufacturing industries.
• At least 2 full life cycles of S/4 HANA and Fiori implementations.
• Experience integrating SAP PP with MM/IM/QM (preferred).

Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and teams in our Dearborn, MI office.
• Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
• Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
• Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on the SAP PP module including ePPDS and iPPE functionalities.
• Perform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/ Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionalities /process gaps.
• Recommend possible technology / process solutions to address gaps.
• Support system integration test, UAT, cutover activities, data migration, Post Go-Live support.
• Hands on experience in S/4 HANA ePPDS with knowledge in Product Heuristics, Planning Table, Mix Model Planning, Sequencing, Detailed Scheduling Board, Pegging, Product/Resource/Location Master data integration.
• Knowledge on iPPE access node, Product Structure, Process Structure, Factory Layout, and Production Version creation in iPPE.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Ford’s internal S/4 HANA Platform team.
• Working closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs.
• Stay current on SAP trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
• 13+ years of functional/technical experience with SAP Production Planning Module.
• 4+ years hands‑on experience in designing, implementing business processes end to end, and optimization within S/4 HANA ePPDS and iPPE.
• Strong knowledge on planning processes Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Configure-to-Order.
• Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry.
• Experienced in at least 2 full life cycle of S/4 HANA and Fiori implementation.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• SAP PP integration with other modules MM, IM, QM (preferred).
• Overall SAP S/4 HANA knowledge (preferred).
• Strong project management skills with effective communication and collaboration (preferred).
• Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery (preferred).
