Accenture is seeking a seasoned SAP Finance Transformation leader to drive the strategy, architecture, and delivery of complex SAP programs for Products clients. The role emphasizes cost accounting, profitability reporting, and end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations across global delivery teams.

You will influence senior executives, shape business cases, and roadmap development while aligning SAP solutions with cutting-edge AI capabilities to transform client finance operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years SAP functional/technical expertise with Product Costing and Margin Analysis.
• Experience in Cost Accounting processing (Inventory Valuation, Overhead Accounting, or Project Accounting) and exposure to actual costing flows in S/4HANA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Products clients.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for Products clients.
• Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model.
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior client Finance executives on the business challenges/trends and the potential value of SAP solutions (current & future).
• Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases & roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations.
• Architect end-to-end Finance solutions that leverage SAP technologies, custom apps, & add-on partner solutions.
• Explain SAP’s Business AI strategy and identify areas where AI can deliver value.
• Experience deploying AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and delivery.
• Advise, design and deliver Finance solutions based on best practices leveraging SAP solutions.
• Lead large project teams onsite with clients or within Accenture and stay current on regulations and innovations.
• Be a thought leader, build assets and best practices for transformation experts.

You are a confident Manager who spots and stays ahead of the SAP platform , industry and Finance trends and knows how to translate client goals into clear and actionable outcomes that everyone can get behind. The Work:

Team with clients on their SAP functional transformation programs through your combined SAP application and functional process expertise which includes your ability to:

• Engage with senior client Finance executives on the business challenges/trends and the potential value of SAP solutions (current & future)

• Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases & roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations

• Architect e2e Finance solutions that leverage SAP technologies, custom apps, & add on partner solutions

• Clearly explain SAP’s Business AI strategy, including an understanding of its capabilities and roadmap. Identify functional areas expertise where AI can deliver real value to clients

• Experience in deployment of AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and ability to explain how these AI-driven improvements can enhance project delivery

• Advise, design and deliver Finance solutions based on the latest industry and technology best practices leveraging a SAP solutions and embedded innovation.

• Lead large project teams of varying size and scope – helping them achieve transformational roadmaps - onsite with clients or within Accenture

• Become a trusted expert and advisor to your clients, team, and Accenture Leadership by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations across your area of expertise

• Be a thought leader, build assets and best practices and develop the next level of transformation experts

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:

• Minimum of 7 years of SAP functional/technical expertise with Product Costing and Margin Analysis — including profitability segment design, characteristic derivation, configuration of value flows from pricing conditions, purchase price variances, and cost settlement into margin reporting structures, universal allocations, and top-down distribution of revenue and costs — with additional experience in Cost Accounting processing (Inventory Valuation, Overhead Accounting, or Project Accounting) and hands‑on exposure to actual costing flows and period-end margin reporting in S/4HANA

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Products clients (SAP support / managed services experience will not be considered for this requirement)

• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for Products clients

• Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model

• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience
