Job summary

CB Smart Recruit is seeking an experienced SAP Pricing / Pricefx Functional Analyst for a long-term contract in Malvern, PA. The role focuses on enterprise pricing within SAP SD and Pricefx, translating complex pricing requirements into scalable configurations and integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with a focus on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash pricing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer pricing requirements and translate them into scalable SAP / Pricefx solutions.
• Configure and support SAP SD pricing, including pricing procedures, condition types, condition tables, access sequences, condition records, pricing scales, discounts and surcharges, and customer- and material-specific pricing.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance Pricefx functionality supporting enterprise pricing processes.
• Support integrations and data flows between Pricefx and SAP SD.
• Partner with Pricing, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, IT, and other business stakeholders.
• Support complex customer pricing programs, including discounts, rebates, incentives, credits, and price changes.
• Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and production issues across SAP and connected pricing applications.
• Analyze the impact of pricing changes on revenue, margin, and customer profitability.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical and integration teams on enhancements.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing and support UAT.
• Support application changes, deployments, documentation, and production activities.
• Help improve and standardize pricing processes across a large enterprise environment.

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Pricing / Pricefx Functional Analyst to support a long‑term consulting engagement with a large organization in the manufacturing and materials sector in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

This is primarily a techno‑functional enterprise pricing role, rather than a general SAP SD position. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands‑on expertise in SAP SD pricing configuration with significant experience using Pricefx.

You will work within a complex enterprise pricing environment, supporting the configuration, integration, optimization, and ongoing operation of SAP and Pricefx pricing processes.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience, with significant focus on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash pricing
• Deep practical knowledge of SAP pricing configuration and condition technique
• Strong hands‑on Pricefx configuration, implementation, or support experience
• Experience integrating an enterprise pricing application with SAP SD / ERP
• Experience supporting complex enterprise pricing environments with large customer and product populations
• Strong understanding of customer pricing, discounts, rebates, incentives, price changes, and profitability
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs
• Ability to troubleshoot pricing issues across business processes, system configuration, and integrations
• Strong business‑facing communication skills and ability to collaborate with both business users and technical teams
• Ability to work on‑site in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Highly Desirable

Experience in any of the following would be an asset:

• Vistex or Vendavo, in addition to or alongside Pricefx
• Salesforce integration or experience within an SAP / Pricefx / Salesforce landscape
• SAP S/4HANA
• Pricing or profitability analytics
• Manufacturing, building products, industrial products, distribution, or another complex B2B environment
• Power BI, QlikView, or similar analytics/reporting tools
• Large‑scale ERP or pricing transformation programs

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidate will have a genuine specialization in enterprise pricing, rather than being a general SAP SD consultant.

You will ideally combine strong SAP SD pricing configuration, direct Pricefx implementation/configuration experience, and experience managing complex B2B customer pricing, rebates, and discount structures.

You should also be comfortable operating in a techno‑functional, business‑facing consulting capacity, working across both technical teams and business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

Contract Details

Rate: $90–$95/hour
Engagement: C2C or 1099
Duration: Long‑term contract, expected to be approximately 1 year or longer
Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania – On‑site
