Job summary

Canidium, LLC is seeking a Pricefx Integration Engineer for a remote, contract-based engagement of 6 months with flexible hours (20–40/wk). You will deliver integration work across ERP, CRM, and middleware, using Java and Groovy, with a strong focus on data integration and pricing domain knowledge.

Independent contractor status and US-based remote work are offered. Strong communication and ability to work with remote teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• 5+ years of professional experience in integration/engineering roles.
• Configuration Engineer (CE) or Solution Developer (SD) certification.
• Object-oriented programming principles.
• Java programming experience is required.
• Groovy experience is a plus.
• Relational databases experience is a must.
• SQL and Excel for data handling/integration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, implementation and integration of Pricefx solutions with ERP/CRM and middleware.
• Implement Pricefx solutions using Groovy where applicable.
• Gather, formalize and communicate customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Pricefx support and customers to resolve issues.
• Assist Solution Architects to develop and maintain user stories.
• Configure solutions per architecture guidelines and user stories.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to product enhancements.

Pricefx Integration Engineer

Engagement Duration: Anticipated 6 months (subject to project milestones and phase extensions)

Estimated Effort: Variable, 20-40 hours/week

Location: Remote (US-based)

Hourly Compensation Rate: Commensurate with specialized expertise

This is a remote, contract-based engagement for project deliverables, open to independent contractors located anywhere in the United States.

The Pricefx Integration Contractor role provides specialized integration services and expertise essential to the execution of software implementation deliverables specific to the Pricefx platform.

As an independent contractor, you will autonomously manage your schedule to deliver requirements gathering, data integration, software configuration and scripting, and report creation deliverables, collaborating with project teams on a B2B basis.

You will work in close partnership with remote technical teams, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Here are a few other skills and qualifications you should have:

Requirements:

• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Configuration Engineer (CE) or Solution Developer (SD) Certification
• Object-oriented programming principles
• Programming experience in Java is a must
• Experience in Groovy is a big plus
• Experience with relational databases is a must
• Database query design, data handling and data integration skills (SQL, Excel)
• Experience integrating SAP ERP systems like SAP ECC and S/4Hana, SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, and other ERP, CRM, CPQ systems or third party technologies is a must
• Experience with MCP servers is a must
• Experience with AI codevelopment tools is a big plus
• Pricing domain knowledge projects is a must
• Enterprise Software implementation projects is an advantage
• Demonstrated cross-functional communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote team
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to set own task lists and timelines
• Success in a customer facing role
• Git , Git Hub or Git Lab knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with integrations using Restful api s is an advantage

Throughout the project engagement lifecycle, sample project deliverables and statement of work (SOW) activities include:

• Assist in system design, implementation and integration of Pricefx solution according to customer needs. This will include ERP, CRM, middleware and other integration points
• Assist in system design, implementation and configuration of Pricefx solution according to customer needs using Groovy language
• Assist in communicating, gathering, and formalizing customer requirements
• Cooperating with Pricefx support team and customers on resolving technical issues
• Supporting Solution Architects to develop and maintain user stories
• Configuring solutions according to Solution Architecture guidelines and user story requirements
• Cooperating with the project teams to resolve issues
• Contributing to product enhancements

Contractor Compensation & Engagement Terms

Proposed contract rates for this engagement depend on experience and scope of deliverables. As an independent contractor, services will be provided on an invoice basis without eligibility for employee benefits or bonus programs.
