Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc in a remote-based, long-term engagement seeks an experienced SAP PPQM Consultant with a strong AMS focus. The role emphasizes AMS support (about 90%) with a minority (around 10%) of development work, handling incidents, configurations, and enhancements within SLAs.

You will collaborate with SAP teams (PP/QM, MM, SD), manage production orders and planning data, and maintain documentation to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM modules.
• Extensive experience in SAP AMS/support projects, incident management, problem management, and SLA-based support.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality management.
• Experience with SAP configuration, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PP/QM is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 90% AMS support for SAP PP/QM, including incident management, problem resolution, service requests, and root cause analysis.
• Handle SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) issues, configuration changes, and functional enhancements.
• Support production orders, MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection lots, quality notifications, and inspection plans.
• Coordinate with business users to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day SAP PPQM issues within agreed SLAs.
• Perform approximately 10% development and enhancement activities, including functional specifications, testing, and coordination with ABAP developers.
• Support change requests, defect fixes, regression testing, and deployment activities.
• Work with cross-functional SAP teams, including MM and SD, to resolve integration-related issues.
• Maintain functional documentation and ensure smooth day-to-day system operations.
