Job summary

A consulting firm based in California is seeking an SAP PP/QM Consultant to troubleshoot production issues and support enhancements related to the SAP manufacturing solution. Candidates should have experience in SAP PP/QM, excellent troubleshooting skills, and ideally some exposure to the automotive or aerospace & defense industries. This position requires onsite presence in San Jose, CA, and offers a contract engagement.

About the Job

You will be aligned with our long-standing client as an SAP PP/QM Consultant. The candidate should stay updated on the latest industry trends relevant to domain and technology.

Title: SAP PP/QM Consultant

Location: San Jose, CA – Onsite

Position: Contract (W2 only)

Job Description:

1. Work with end users to troubleshoot issues in production on the shop floor in real time.
2. Triage production issues and collaborate with support teams for timely resolution.
3. Identify process improvements to streamline manufacturing workflows and enhance user experience.
4. Support functional design and UAT for enhancements related to the SAP manufacturing solution.
5. Act as a super user to guide new SAP and manufacturing solution users; provide training and feedback for onboarding improvements.
6. Resolve production issues with firefighter access when necessary to keep operations moving.

Industry experience needed: Nice to have – Automotive or Aerospace & Defense.
