Job Title: SAP PPDS Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS Solution Architect to lead and support planning and scheduling solutions in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in SAP PPDS, providing strategic guidance for long-term, mid-term, and short-term planning methodologies.
• Design, architect, and implement SAP PP/DS solutions to support business planning and scheduling requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align SAP functionalities with operational needs.
• Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of planning processes, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Explain SAP functionality and system behavior clearly to business users.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions and design workshops to develop scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure integration of SAP PPDS with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, APO).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 15+ years of SAP consulting experience, with a strong focus on SAP PP and PP/DS.
• In-depth understanding of planning methodologies across various time horizons (long, mid, short-term).
• Strong business knowledge in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience in planning and scheduling functions is a significant advantage.
• Expert-level knowledge of MRP and MRP Live.
• Familiarity with Predictive MRP (pMRP) and Demand-Driven MRP (DDMRP) is a plus.
• Experience with Supply Assignment (ARun) functionality is a plus.
• Proven experience with aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise) and Backorder Processing (BOP).
• Skilled in conducting requirement gathering and translating into effective solution designs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
