SAP PP-PI Consultant Profile with Experience in ABAP-Based to Web-Based Conversion for PI Sheets.

Profile Summary

A highly skilled SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) consultant with high level experience in transitioning traditional ABAP-based PI Sheets to modern, web-based technologies for PI Sheets. Expertise in Production Planning, Process Industry, and PI Sheets functionalities, with hands-on proficiency in ABAP programming, Fiori, and SAP UI5 for web-based solutions.

Key Strengths Include

• Extensive experience in SAP PP-PI module, covering key business processes such as production order management, material management, batch management, process manufacturing, and quality management.
• Hands-on experience in the conversion of PI Sheets from traditional ABAP-based reports and interfaces to modern web-based Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring mobile compatibility.
• Proficient in ABAP Workbench to develop custom reports, ALVs, and interfaces related to PI Sheets.
• Requirement gathering and analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional requirements for the transition.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for both ABAP and web-based applications.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, testing, and end-user training.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and UI5 framework for building responsive web applications.
• Experience with integration between SAP PP-PI, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules such as QM and MM.
• US Based resource needed; some travel for initial understanding of existing processes required.
