Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Nashville seeks an experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant to lead legacy ERP to SAP ECC 6.0 transformations. You will drive design, configuration, testing, cutover, and post go-live support across the PP module, collaborating with business stakeholders and SI partners.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of SAP functional consulting, strong process mapping skills, and proven success in multi-project environments, including migration projects from legacy ERP

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• Minimum two full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with legacy ERP to SAP migration projects.
• Strong experience in business process mapping and solution design.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting data migration, cutover and hypercare.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Module expertise: Production planning, MRP, BOM, routings, production orders, capacity planning and shop floor execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support
• Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP standard solutions
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers
• Support data cleansing, mapping, migration validation and reconciliation
• Coordinate unit testing, SIT, UAT and defect management
• Support cutover planning, hypercare and knowledge transfer
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules
• Create functional documentation, SOPs and training materials
• Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations

The consultant will participate in a large-scale legacy ERP to SAP ECC 6.0 transformation program, working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams and system integrators. Candidates with prior IFS ERP to SAP migration experience are highly preferred. Automotive manufacturing experience is considered a strong advantage
