Job summary

Procorp in Kentucky is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support production planning across SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments. You will configure PP modules, gather requirements from manufacturing teams, and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

You will lead end-to-end PP processes, coordinate with MM/SD/QM/WMM/FI-CO integrations, perform testing, training, and production deployment, and provide ongoing user support to improve manufacturing performance.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to support SAP production planning and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration, implementation, integration, and production support, with experience working closely with business and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP Production Planning (PP) processes in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Gather business requirements from manufacturing and production teams and translate them into effective SAP PP solutions.
• Configure Production Planning, MRP, Production Orders, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Capacity Planning.
• Support MRP planning runs, material requirements planning, procurement proposals, planned orders, and production order conversion.
• Configure and support BOMs (Bill of Materials), Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, and Master Data.
• Manage end-to-end Production Order processes, including creation, release, confirmation, goods issue, goods receipt, and order settlement.
• Analyze and resolve SAP PP production planning issues and provide L2/L3 functional support.
• Work closely with business users to understand manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules including MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and FI/CO.
• Support SAP S/4HANA PP functionality including MRP Live and Fiori-based production planning processes, where applicable.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment.
• Develop test scenarios, test scripts, process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
• Provide user training and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for manufacturing and business teams.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore technical and functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and successful project delivery.
