Position - SAP PMMO Consultant

Location - Remote/USA

Duration - 6+ Months

Role Overview:

As an SAP PMMO (GPD experience preferred, or no PMMO experience with GPD) resource, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing AD project-based manufacturing processes within the S4 SAP ecosystem. Your expertise will contribute to efficient material requirements planning (MRP), project systems, logistics optimization, and streamlined project execution.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Assembly Processing Complex Manufacturing - SAP PMMO experience (5+ years of GPD experience can substitute for PMMO experience, including at least 1 customer go-live)
• Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) Grouping, Pegging, Distribution (GPD), SAP Best Practice
• Grouping, Pegging, Distribution, Breakpoints - 5+ years of SAP PS experience with at least 1 lifecycle implementation of SAP
• Ability to work/coordinate with offshore/offsite teams globally and deliver SAP services
• Propose solution improvements, identify gaps, and develop resolution strategies, including design estimates, project plans, systems design, and requirements specifications
• Gather work stream requirements with business process owners and complete the Business-Driven Configuration Assessment questionnaire
• Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities to eliminate recurring issues
• Understanding of functional integration with MRP views of Material Master, Shop Floor Execution (Make to Order Planning, Use-up, Interplant, ROP, Lead Time Scheduling, Co-products, Subcontracting, Capacity Planning, Variable Size Planning, Planned Scrap, MRP Areas, Advanced Procurement, Quota Arrangements)
• Good knowledge of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and Routings in an A&D environment
• Experience with Project Systems for logistics and controlling
• Knowledge of Goods Movements
• Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)
• Excellent communication skills
• SAP ECC or S/4HANA SAP PS certification is a plus
