Job summary

Startekk Inc. is seeking an SAP MM Architect/Functional Consultant local to Texas to drive Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management and Material Valuation optimizations.

You will configure SAP MM, ensure tight integration with FI/CO, SD, PP and QM, and lead testing and data migration efforts. You will translate business requirements into functional specs, lead workshops with stakeholders, and provide technical leadership during implementation and support cycles.

Responsibilities

• Lead business workshops to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design optimized Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, and Material Valuation processes.
• Configure SAP MM modules, including organizational structure, master data, pricing schemas, and consumption-based planning.
• Ensure SAP MM integration with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM; liaise between stakeholders, testing teams, and developers.
• Lead testing activities with test scripts, UAT, and data migration support.
• Diagnose SAP MM issues and translate requirements into detailed specs for ABAP teams.
• Provide functional leadership throughout implementation and support activities.

SAP MM Architect - Functional Consultant ((Local to Texas only))

• Contract

The Employee will help our organization to identify and bridge the gap that exists in the business by analyzing the data, scale and support digital transformation initiatives.

• Lead business workshops to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design optimized Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, and Material Valuation processes.
• Configure SAP MM modules, including organizational structure, master data, pricing schemas, and consumption-based planning.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with core SAP modules including:
  • SAP FI/CO
  • SAP SD
  • SAP PP
  • SAP QM
• Lead testing activities by preparing test scripts, executing unit tests, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting data migration.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex SAP MM incidents and production issues.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for technical ABAP teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, testing teams, and technical developers.
• Provide functional leadership throughout implementation and support activities.
• Ensure SAP MM solutions align with business requirements and industry best practices.

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience
• 6+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience
• Strong experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant / Architect
• Proven experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management and Material Valuation
• Hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration
• Experience with SAP MM integration with FI/CO, SD, PP, and QM
