Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced SAP MDG Supplier Master Functional Lead in Seattle to drive governance across ERP landscapes. You will gather requirements, design governance processes, and lead MDG supplier solutions from design through production support.

Collaboration with Procurement, Finance, and IT is essential. The role demands expertise in MDG-S, Supplier Lifecycle Management, and SAP S/4HANA transformations, with a focus on governance, data quality, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Supplier Lifecycle Management processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Business Partner concepts.
• Experience in procurement and supplier data governance processes.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MDG Supplier Master functional design and implementation activities.
• Conduct business workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Define Supplier Master governance processes, approval workflows, and business rules.
• Provide functional leadership during design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare phases.
• Configure SAP MDG Supplier Data Model and governance processes.
• Design and configure Change Request Types, Workflows, and Business Rules.
• Configure BRF+ validations, derivations, and duplicate checks.
• Support Fiori-based Supplier Master governance processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, integrations, and custom developments.
• Define and enforce supplier data standards and governance policies.
• Establish supplier onboarding and maintenance processes.
• Support supplier data quality initiatives, data cleansing, and deduplication activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support integration between SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, and third-party systems.
• Work with Data Migration teams during supplier conversion and transformation programs.
• Coordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
• Serve as the primary functional point of contact for Supplier Master Data initiatives.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to business and IT leadership.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, training materials, and governance policies.
• Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.

Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Supplier Master Functional Lead to lead Supplier Master Data Governance initiatives across enterprise SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor), Supplier Lifecycle Management, Business Partner processes, Data Governance, and SAP S/4HANA transformations.
The candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, designing governance processes, configuring SAP MDG Supplier solutions, and leading implementations from design through production support. The role requires close collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

• Lead SAP MDG Supplier Master functional design and implementation activities.
