Job summary

Trident Seafoods, based in Seattle, seeks a SAP Master Data Governance Business Analyst to lead enterprise master data operations within SAP S/4HANA. This business-facing role partners with stakeholders and SAP teams to ensure data quality and scalable governance across the organization.

The candidate will manage MDG processes for Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance data, drive improvements, and support governance frameworks and change management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business, IS, Supply Chain, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Master Data Management/Governance in complex enterprises.
• Hands-on with SAP MDG and SAP S/4HANA master data processes.
• Experience across Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance data objects.
• Business-facing liaison who gathers requirements and translates needs into MD solutions.
• Experience with SAP data load, mass maintenance, migration tools for MD operations.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and SAP teams to support data operations, governance, and improvements.
• Translate business needs into master data solutions and workflow improvements.
• Govern and manage MDG across Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance domains.
• Execute data creation, cleansing, validation, governance, and lifecycle processes using SAP MDG/SAP S/4HANA.
• Coordinate data loads, mass updates, migration support, workflow-driven changes.
• Maintain and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and compliance.
• Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and drive resolution with business users and IT.
• Support testing, UAT, process docs, training, and change management for MDG.
• Provide end-user guidance on master data processes and governance best practices.
