Job summary

Fusion Consulting seeks a SAP MDG Functional Consultant (MM + BP) to lead end-to-end design and implementation of MDG solutions across material, customer and vendor data. The role requires deep MDG expertise and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration.

You will gather requirements, define governance models, workflows and BRF+ rules, and collaborate with data stewards, analysts and developers to deliver scalable, compliant master data management.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 years in SAP MDG
• Deep understanding of MDG data models, workflow configuration, and replication
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration for master data domains
• Fluency in English and German; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or SAP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MDG solutions for domains such as Material, Customer and Vendor master data
• Gather and analyze business requirements to define governance processes, data models, and workflows
• Design MDG frameworks including data modeling, UI, BRF+ rules, validations, derivations, and replication
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data stewards, and developers
• Contribute to data quality initiatives, data migration, and ongoing data governance practices
