Job summary

Par Pacific is seeking a Material Master Data Coordinator in Houston, TX to drive standardization across sites and platforms. You will own material master records in SAP, enforce consistent naming, and collaborate with the Master Data function to ensure accurate, audit-ready data.

The role reports to the Director, Procurement Shared Services and requires SAP MM experience across ECC/S/4HANA, with strong data governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material master data, procurement/sourcing, inventory or ERP master data with SAP
• Hands-on experience with SAP Material Master in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA (MM01/MM02/MM03/MM17/MM60/MMBE) required
• Understanding of how material master data supports Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoicing, SD, and PP
• Knowledge of data governance, controls, and approval workflows with Master Data collaboration
• Strong attention to detail and cross-functional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own creation, extension, change, blocking, and lifecycle of material master records in SAP
• Enforce standardized noun-modifier naming and maintain data accuracy across SAP views, sites, and platforms
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, duplicates, and missing or incorrect attributes
• Support internal stakeholders with material data requests and issue resolution
• Contribute to reporting, data quality tracking, and process improvements
• Assist with ERP projects and master data migration activities
