Motion Recruitment is seeking a SAP Master Data Architect in Needham, MA for a hybrid, full-time role.

You will design and implement SAP master data solutions and drive governance across domains while collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology to shape enterprise data strategy and deliver hands-on improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise applications and data management.
• 5+ years of SAP Master Data Management initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with Material, Customer, Vendor, and Financial Master Data.
• Strong data architecture and cross-system integration expertise.
• Experience with data governance and data lifecycle management.
• Led SAP MDM/MDG/migration/transformation initiatives.
• Ability to partner with business and technical stakeholders.

A global organization undergoing large-scale digital transformation is seeking a SAP Master Data Architect to help modernize and strengthen enterprise data capabilities. This role is a unique opportunity to influence how critical business data is structured, governed, and leveraged across the organization while remaining deeply involved in execution and solution delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, improving enterprise processes, and partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Technology. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping master data strategy while spending the majority of their time driving hands-on implementation and optimization efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience working with enterprise applications, data management, or business systems
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Master Data Management initiatives
• Deep knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• Expertise across Material, Customer, Vendor, and Financial Master Data domains
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and cross-system integration
• Experience with master data governance, quality programs, and data lifecycle management
• Demonstrated success leading SAP MDM, MDG, migration, or transformation initiatives
• Experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders to define scalable solutions
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
