Job summary

SAP SE in Newtown Square is seeking a working student to contribute to data platforms and AI initiatives. You will build data pipelines, APIs, and MCP servers, while learning SAP's data fabric and analytics tools.

You will join SAP Next Gen, collaborating with mentors and peers, and delivering real SAP work with a growing portfolio of data engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in CS, software engineering, data science, information systems or AI.
• Basic SQL, REST APIs/web services, Power BI or SAC, ETL experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn, take ownership and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build production data pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Create data models and write KQL queries in Azure Data Explorer.
• Develop secure REST APIs with Azure API Management.
• Build event-driven integrations with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Create MCP servers connecting enterprise data with AI platforms.
• Support data products in SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Build dashboards and reports in Power BI and SAC.
• Improve data quality, documentation, monitoring, and automation workflows.

• Support data products in SAP Business Data Cloud.

• Improve data quality, documentation, monitoring, and automation workflows.

Build and maintain data pipelines that load from APIs, databases, files, and business systems.

• Create and improve Azure Data Explorer tables, functions, and KQL queries.
• Monitor data jobs and help resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain clear documentation and uphold data quality standards.

• Publish and manage APIs through Azure API Management.
• Implement OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID authentication.

MCP Servers and Intelligent Solutions

• Build MCP servers that provide governed, controlled access to enterprise data and services.
• Connect data products with Claude, Joule, and other intelligent platforms.
• Create tools and automated workflows for business users.
• Support prompt design, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

A master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, AI or related technical field; problem solving/data interest; AI/data/cloud/API/MCP/analytics interests; English communication; willingness to learn and take ownership.

Preferred: basic SQL, REST APIs/web services, Power BI/SAC/reporting tools, ETL experience.
