Job description

,We are seeking a highly experienced SAP IT Consultant – Master Data to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring SAP IMG, designing solutions, and writing comprehensive functional specifications for software developers. The focus will be on Master Data Management, with expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) and/or SAP SD (Sales and Distribution).

The candidate should also have a broad understanding of complex system landscapes and the entire lifecycle of a product, customer, or vendor. This includes navigating through systems such as PLM, Governance, Transactional Systems, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Systems, and Interaction Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure SAP IMG to meet specific business requirements.
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for Master Data Management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Create detailed functional specifications for software developers to build robust solutions.
• Provide expertise in SAP MM, SD and FMS modules, ensuring seamless integration within the system landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and data flows across various interconnected systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in configuring SAP IMG (Implementation Guide).
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SD and FMS modules.
• Proven ability to design IT solutions and create detailed functional specifications.
• Familiarity with complex system landscapes involving multiple integrated systems, including:
  • PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Governance systems
  • Transactional systems
  • DAM (Digital Asset Management)
  • Content and Interaction systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
• Understanding of Master Data lifecycle management in global organizations.
