Job summary

VMG Labs LLC is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Solution Architect for a remote role in the United States. You will develop and oversee integrated SAP IS-U/CIS solutions across billing, customer service, device management, and exception handling, collaborating with PMs and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements include 10+ years in SAP solution architecture focused on utilities, deep IS-U/S4HANA knowledge, and proven large-scale implementation experience.

Job description

This is a remote position. As an SAP ISU Solution Architect, you will make an impact by developing and overseeing integrated SAP IS-U/CIS solutions across billing, customer service, device management, and exception handling. You will be a valued member of the VMG team and work collaboratively with project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Additionally, you will:

• Develop and oversee integrated SAP IS-U/CIS solutions across billing, customer service, device management, and exception handling.
• Apply best practices from the utilities sector, including regulated and deregulated markets.
• Advise on SAP IS-U modules such as Financial Contract Accounting (FICA), Billing, Device Management/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (DM/AMI), and CRM.
• Ensure technical integrity and integration across SAP modules and third-party systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years in SAP solution architecture, with significant time in utilities-focused roles.
• Deep knowledge of SAP IS-U and S/4HANA Utilities architecture.
• Experience with integration points across SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Proven track record in large-scale SAP implementations.
• Experience in regulated and deregulated utility markets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead solution workshops effectively.
• Knowledge of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and device management.
