Job Description

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. This is a remote position. Some travel may be required.

Position Description

SAP Application Security. The client has been selected to build and deliver an SAP S4HANA solution which is primarily a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) solution incorporating SAP’s Defense and Security industry solution. The implementation includes the build-out of the EAF S4HANA solution stateside/CONUS before the eventual shipment of technical solution to Egypt/Basatin. Final deployment activities in Egypt include testing, data migration, training, and cutover. Sustainment activities will follow.

The ideal candidate will participate in development for IT projects involving SAP applications by leveraging ABAP skills to develop solutions for projects. Determine technical requirements of projects to ensure that client specifications are met. Participate as an SAP developer through all phases of new solutions’ projects, and work closely with functional project managers, basis and infrastructure teams in the design and implementation of solutions and enhancements. Learn help design and implement cross business process solutions. Collaborate with team in solution development and compliance of standards. Provide technical support for SAP applications which include defect resolution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience leading SAP Process Integration (PI) application development efforts
• Minimum of 2 full lifecycles of SAP PI implementation experience including: Trading partner setup and testing, review of functional requirements, and development of corresponding technical specifications; ALE configuration configuring Partner Profiles, RFC Destinations, and Logical Systems; Advanced message mapping Java XSLT, and ABAP IDOC; Java coding and scripting; Application security technologies and approaches.
• Experience developing software in SAP NetWeaver Java Stack environments.
• Experience configuring and developing interfaces in the SAP PI/PO instance.
• Experience with WSDL and XSD definitions.
• Experience working on EDI 850, 860, 856, and 810 transactions.

Primary Job Duties

• Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and provide O&M support for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between Client SAP instances and external systems using the SAP PI/PO platform.
• Evaluate, model, and design interface objects from an enterprise service architecture perspective to construct interfaces.
• Monitor production interfaces and address incidents within the expected timeframes.
• Import external WSDL structures into SAP PI/PO and build SOAP based interfaces.
• Configure interfaces to use various SAP PI/PO adapters and route traffic to external systems.
• Configure EDI interfaces using PO B2B adapter.
• Develop message mappings between complex source and target structures.
