Job summary

Baer is seeking an SAP IBP Design SME for a 3-month Federal remote project. This role is remote but based in the United States and requires US citizenship and active secret clearance.

The selected consultant will join a DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program, leading IBP design, data conversion governance, and cross-functional process integration. Experience with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and federal ERP implementations is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP IBP and S/4HANA design experience in federal or DoD environments.
• Strong knowledge of supply planning, MRP, and inventory management.
• Experience leading design workshops and documenting requirements and decisions.
• Interim Secret DoD clearance required.
• eSPP and SAP Defense & Security experience preferred.

Overview

Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced SAP functional consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience, a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, and experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations in Federal or DoD environments.

Description

• Lead SAP IBP design and validation sessions for Plan-to-Stock.
• Translate business requirements into IBP Supply Planning, Response Planning, Demand-Supply Balancing, and master data solutions.
• Design and validate IBP-S/4HANA integration across planning and execution processes.
• Identify and document gaps, requirements, assumptions, process flows, and design decisions.
• Facilitate discussions with business, functional, architecture, and technical teams.
• Provide SME guidance on supply planning, IBP, and S/4HANA.
• Support integration with external planning capabilities and participate in solution/design reviews.

Requirements

• Hands-on SAP IBP and S/4HANA experience with future-state supply-planning design and solution validation.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Planning, Response Planning, Demand-Supply Balancing, planning master data, MRP, and Inventory Management.
• Experience leading design workshops and translating business requirements into SAP IBP solutions.
• Experience designing and validating IBP-S/4HANA integration and external planning touchpoints.
• Strong ability to document process flows, requirements, design decisions, gaps, assumptions, and actions.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills across business and technical teams.
• Interim Secret DoD clearance required.
• eSPP and SAP Defense & Security (D&S) experience strongly preferred.
• DoD/federal supply chain, or logistics experience is a plus.
