Job summary

CSCI Consulting, Inc. seeks a SAP HAZMAT Functional resource to support a DoD client modernization, transforming legacy logistics into SAP S/4HANA. You will design, configure, and test hazardous materials processes across MM, TM, EWM, SD, and related modules, ensuring regulatory compliance and data accuracy.

The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, data migration, SIT/UAT, and documentation. The consultant will work with DoD and federal logistics teams to enable standardized business

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in SAP HAZMAT and Dangerous Goods workflows within SAP S/4HANA
• Experience designing and configuring hazardous materials and regulatory data in SAP
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders across MM, TM, EWM, SD for integrated logistics

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional SME for SAP HAZMAT and Dangerous Goods in SAP S/4HANA
• Analyze requirements for hazardous materials identification, classification, storage, movement, and reporting
• Support configuration, data migration, and testing activities
• Maintain HAZMAT master data and regulatory information
• Ensure integration across MM, TM, EWM, SD and other logistics areas
• Develop functional specs, process flows, and system design documentation
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing and defect resolution
• Assist with SOPs, training materials, and end-user documentation
