Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 2 for SAP GTS, focusing on end-to-end SAP GTS implementations, multi-country rollouts, and the transition from SAP GTS to GTS E4H. You will manage export controls, customs, and related compliance, while designing interfaces between SAP ERP and third-party applications.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, help with solution architecture, and drive enhancements and continuous improvements across ECC, S/4HANA, and GTS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Extensive SAP GTS experience with end-to-end implementations.
• Experience with SAP GTS to GTS E4H transformation.
• Experience managing SAP GTS across ECC, S/4HANA and GTS.
• Strong knowledge of customs, export control, sanctions screening and related compliance.
• Ability to design enhancements and integrations with SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill And Experience

SAP GTS experience with full life‑cycle implementations (multi‑country rollout preferred).

Prior experience in transformation from SAP GTS to SAP GTS E4H

Manage and ensure smooth operation of SAP foreign trade processes across ECC, S/4HANA and GTS.

Analyze and optimize processes for export control, customs handling, origin of goods, and preference processing.

Implement solutions for customs, export control, sanctions list screening, and related compliance areas.

Design and maintain interfaces with third‑party applications.

Strong communication, problem‑solving, collaboration, and influencing skills with an innovative mindset.

Experience with the design of enhancements and continuous improvement projects involving Global trade services (GTS) – Compliance Management (Sanctioned Party Lists, Embargo, Legal Control) and Customs Management and integration points with SAP ERP.

Solid knowledge of Global trade services (GTS) customs Declaration document and associated forms like commercial invoice.

Experience using US Automated export system (AES) filing using Global trade services (GTS) and filing through Broker Interface.

Lead the automations to improve the SAP GTS solution efficiency

Preferred Skill And Experience

Support the planning and execution of releases, upgrades, and cutover activities related to SAP GTS

Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAP GTS solution.

Experience to perform configuration and enhancements in Sales and distribution (SD) Billing, Pricing and billing copy control in SAP ECC.

Knowledge in all areas of the Order to Cash process: sales order configuration, pricing, delivery processing and warehouse management.

Analytical team player, able to learn quickly, can prioritize and multi‑task

Strong English verbal and written skills

Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure

Self‑starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance

Knowledge of working with Data Analytics – collaborate with Hadoop and Tableau to prepare various dashboards. Prepare Functional Specification, Participate in design and testing of Hadoop Tables and Tableau Dashboards

Knowledge of upstream systems like CRM and ECC and integration with GTS

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
