In this position...
The SAP Functional Consultant- Treasury will work with System Integrators to Design, build, and configure SAP Advanced Payment Management (APM) as well as Multibank Connectivity (MBC) modules to meet business processes and business requirements on the IERP Landscape. You will interact with customers to define business processes, write and validate functional specifications, and deliver complex solutions. Ensure timely, cost-effective, and successful SAP implementations. Perform SIT, UAT, Load & Performance, and Launch activities, as well as on-site hyper-care support for all implementations.
This is a hybrid position, and the team is normally onsite 2 days/ week at the World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Pair with System Integrators to gather, analyze, and understand business requirements to successfully design and implement SAP APM/MBC solutions.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis to configuration, documentation, training, deployment, and hyper-care support.
- Configure and customize SAP APM and MBC modules based on customer specifications, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Responsible and accountable for working with System Integrators to include Enhancements, interfaces, Reports, Data conversions, and Workflows.
- Identify and manage Dependencies with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Treasury with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Implement Treasury functionality, offering recommendations for process improvements and optimizations by participating in technical architecture discussions around business capability, technical functionality, and integration
- Leverage Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques to deliver.
- Align technical team capacity with business priority, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues before they are realized.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLA.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Maintain Jira and create user stories and other requirements/specification artifacts. Use the same to effectively Communicate status updates to all stakeholders.
- Conduct and support testing on SAP platform – Functional, Security, Integration, Performance and Load, and User Acceptance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prepare and stage production builds and verify production releases meet technical and business expectation
- Support Release Management Activities - cutover, data profiling, extraction, cleansing activities and launch.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience creating effective systems documentation including Functional and Technical Specifications.
- 5 + years of experience configuring SAP APM and MBC or any other SAP Module.
- 3+ years of experience with application delivery and use of test-driven, iterative, and Agile development principles

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
- Familiarity with SWIFT
- Proven ability to produce deliverables on time.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working independently as well as on a team.
- Experience using project tracking tools such as Rally and Jira.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, seeing them through to completion.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to contribute to team goals by proactively identifying and taking on tasks.
