CSCI Consulting, Inc. is seeking a SAP Functional Consultant - Materials Management (MM) to support the federal DoW client.

The role covers design, configuration, implementation, testing, and sustainment of SAP S/4HANA MM to modernize procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations in line with federal standards. You will work in a collaborative environment, perform Fit-to-Standard workshops, develop FDDs, support testing cycles, and assist with data migration and post-production support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience.
• Experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master data, vendor master data, source determination, valuation, and physical inventory processes.

Job Description

CSCI Consulting is looking for a SAP Functional Consultant - Materials Management (MM) to support our Department of War client. In this role, the consultant will support the design, configuration, implementation, testing, and sustainment of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management solutions that modernize and optimize procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with federal standards and SAP best practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA MM functionality, including procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master data, valuation, and vendor management processes
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs, system configurations, and technical specifications
• Support end-to-end business process integration across SAP modules including Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
• Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process design sessions, and solution demonstrations
• Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs), configuration documentation, test scripts, user guides, and training materials
• Execute and support unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing activities
• Collaborate with developers to define requirements for enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, and data conversions
• Support data migration activities, including material masters, vendor records, purchasing documents, inventory data, and pricing information
• Assist with release planning, deployments, and post-production support activities
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide Tier II/Tier III production support
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support cybersecurity, audit, compliance, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities as required

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be substituted
• 5+ years of SAP MM functional consulting experience
• Experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, material master data, vendor master data, source determination, valuation, and physical inventory processes
• Experience developing functional specifications for custom SAP enhancements and integrations
• Experience supporting testing, defect resolution, and production support activities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
• Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional presence

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Department of War, defense, or other Federal ERP modernization programs
• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Materials Management certification
• Experience with SAP Activate implementation methodology
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience integrating SAP MM with SAP Ariba, EWM, TM, FI/CO, and SD
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Cloud ALM
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, supply chain modernization, and enterprise business processes
• Active Secret clearance
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
• Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
• Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
• Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
• Past experience working with a federal government agency
• Department of War experience is a plus!
