Job summary

CACI International is seeking a seasoned SAP Functional Consultant to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) with SAP S/4HANA across FI, CO, FM and SD modules. You will translate requirements into functional designs, configure systems, and collaborate with government stakeholders to improve financial controls and logistics operations.

You will lead workshops, create design documents, and guide ABAP developers through development, testing, and deployment while supporting data

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting FI, CO, FM, or SD.
• Strong understanding of enterprise financial management and logistics business processes.
• Experience writing functional specifications for custom SAP developments.
• Experience with testing, production support, and system enhancements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA across FI, CO, FM, and SD modules.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs and configurations.
• Support end-to-end processes: GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Budget Control, SO Processing, Billing, Pricing.
• Ensure integration across finance, supply chain, transportation, and logistics processes.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to improve controls and reporting.
• Lead workshops, BP reengineering sessions, and solution demos.
• Develop Functional Design Documents, config guides, procedures, and training materials.
• Prepare functional specs for custom developments (RICEFW).
• Coordinate with ABAP developers through the lifecycle.
• Support master data governance for financial, customer, and organizational data.
• Lead unit/integration/testing and UAT activities.
• Provide Tier II/III production support and issue troubleshooting.
• Assist data migration, reconciliation, and QA activities.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, Retrospectives.

The Opportunity

Make a meaningful impact supporting Department of Defense operations as an SAP Functional Consultant on the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS). As a trusted functional expert, you'll work with SAP S/4HANA across Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules. You'll partner with government stakeholders and technical teams to design integrated solutions that transform how the DoD manages enterprise financial and logistics operations. Responsibilities

• SAP Configuration & Solution Design Configure and implement SAP S/4HANA functionality across FI, CO, FM, and SD modules
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, system configurations, and technical specifications
• Support end-to-end processes including General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Budget Control, Sales Order Processing, Billing, and Pricing
• Ensure seamless integration across finance, supply chain, transportation, and logistics business processes
• Partner with government stakeholders to improve financial controls, reporting, and logistics operations
• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, business process reengineering sessions, and solution demonstrations
• Develop comprehensive documentation including Functional Design Documents, configuration guides, procedures, and training materials
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
• Collaborate with ABAP developers throughout development, testing, and deployment cycles
• Support master data governance for financial, customer, and organizational data
• Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing activities
• Provide Tier II/III production support and troubleshoot complex issues
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
• Participate actively in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Deliver iterative enhancements aligned with mission requirements
• Support release management, deployments, and post-production stabilization
• Support cybersecurity, audit, Authority to Operate (ATO), and compliance activities
• Ensure adherence to DoD financial management policies and federal regulations

Qualifications

Required:

The proposed salary range for this position is:$90,300-$189,600
