The SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the new S/4 HANA landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building solutions by utilizing the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives.

The functional analyst role to support our Accounts Payable and VIM (vendor invoice management) solution requires knowledge of the AP business functions, the AP-related configuration in SAP S/4 HANA, and the SAP VIM solution. SAP VIM requires technical skills and capabilities beyond the functional configuration capabilities needed for AP.

The accounts payable space is a high-volume and business critical function that requires a resource who is capable of: working closely with business users to evaluate problems and identify root-cause, providing quality fixes under time pressure, and identifying areas for improvement based on patterns found in processing failures.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving continuous improvements and innovation in Accounts Payable (AP) area.
• Responsible for development and configuration of Intelligent Capture for SAP (IC4S) and SAP Vender Invoice Management (VIM) solution within Simplot.
• Document solutions and provide functional and technical presentations to peers as well as solution architects as related to VIM and Accounts Payable within the IT organization.
• Responsible for working with IT, AP department and business partners and other stakeholders to define requirements under AP.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the IT environment, including VIM, ERP platforms, hardware, application development, and related internal control practices to ensure compliance with information management-related policies and procedures.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 3+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst in relation to Record to Report focusing on VIM and underlying SAP capabilities is required.
• Proven knowledge of the SAP Fiori elements and how to drive standardization and re-utilization of elements in a quest to develop a common UX repository is preferred.
• Prepare Technical and Functional Specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements Forms, Workflows objects (RICEFW) related to VIM and IC4S.
• Good understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is required.
• The ideal candidate should have a good AP IT background and AP related IT projects.
• Finance Integration understanding with various SAP and Non-SAP Modules and their E2E data flow.
• Excellent troubleshooting and verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development is required.
