A leading company in technology solutions seeks an SAP Consultant to enhance their SAP S/4HANA and Ariba integrations. The role involves configuring procurement processes, supporting implementations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in IT, relevant certifications, and proven SAP expertise to drive successful projects.
An expert is needed to contribute to the various phases of the consulting lifecycle of this position. You will be highly involved in business process consulting, from defining problems and designing solutions to implementing them. In addition, you will be directly involved in the development, configuration, and deployment of the entire SAP solution (on S/4HANA or Ariba). You will additionally guide teams on project processes, support proposal development, deliver client training, and support internal capability building with the details of project scopes. As such, this role presents an excellent opportunity to develop value-adding consulting solutions that assist clients in responding to the variable demands of the global enterprise landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Able to lead the configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA MM module, ensuring seamless procurement and inventory management processes.
Support team in procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and movement types.
Configure and support procurement processes including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), and GR/IR reconciliation.
Utilize and configure Flexible Workflows and Fiori apps for procurement automation.
Able to implement and optimize Lean Service Procurement with item hierarchy to enhance service-based procurement efficiency.
Configure and manage Output Management using BRF+ for document generation and distribution.
Perform end-to-end supplier evaluation in SAP Fiori for strategic vendor assessment.
Collaborate with ABAP teams for WRICEF developments, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.
Manage master data uploads using SAP Migration Cockpit for streamlined data migration.
Support in Hypercare and Post-Hypercare activities, offering expert guidance during stabilization phases.
Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) configurations, including safety stock, procurement proposals, lot-sizing procedures, and exception handling.
Implement Batch Management for materials requiring traceability, including tracking of expiry dates, serialization, shelf-life expiration, and quality inspections.
Optimize and configure Split Valuation to distinguish and group materials by different valuation types such as raw materials, by-products, and country-specific cost variations.
Maintain and govern master data including material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records with data consistency checks.
Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure correct account determination using OBYC and material valuation settings.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in procurement cycles such as PO processing, GR/IR clearing, and invoice discrepancies.
Work closely with warehouse and supply chain teams to streamline inventory, stock transfers, and physical inventory processes.
SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts:
Implement and configure SAP Ariba modules, including Sourcing and Contract Management.
Integrate Ariba solutions with SAP S/4HANA for streamlined procurement operations.
Support and manage SAP Ariba Sourcing for RFQs, Auctions, and Contract Management.
Design and execute Technical and Commercial Envelopes for supplier negotiations.
Support business users in managing contract renewals, amendments, and approvals within SAP.
Possess a deep understanding of the end-to-end SAP Ariba Contracts process, including contract creation, negotiation, approval workflows, and compliance tracking.
General:
Gather and analyze business requirements to propose effective SAP solutions.
Develop and maintain functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Conduct requirement gathering, gap analysis, and feasibility studies for business process improvements.
Prepare and maintain key documentation, including Business Requirement Documents BRD and Functional Specification Documents FSD.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing UAT and deliver training sessions for end-users and business stakeholders.
Provide Go-Live support and manage incident resolution for procurement-related processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance (FI) and Sales & Distribution (SD), for seamless P2P & O2C integration.
Familiar with SAP ECC environment and transition strategies to S/4HANA RISE & GROW with SAP.
Experience in industry-specific solutions, particularly FMCG.
Strong understanding of ticketing systems and ITSM tools like CHARM for managing client issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP Ariba implementations.
At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
Certified in SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Private/Public Cloud.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
Experience with SAP data migration tools and methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
