The opportunity

We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Consultant for SAP S/4HANA Upgrades (RISE Migration & Conversion) to join our Technology Consulting team. In this role, you will collaborate with external clients and internal teams, leveraging your strong proficiency in SAP technology to help clients achieve improved outcomes and lasting results.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant in our SAP Financial Services practice, you will play a vital role in aligning client business needs with technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, providing expert guidance on S/4HANA Upgrade (Migration & Conversion) capabilities.
  2. Workshops Support: Assist in requirement-gathering workshops to elicit detailed technical requirements.
  3. Technical Design: Contribute to the design and documentation of migration and conversion processes to the SAP S/4HANA platform.
  4. Build & Unit Testing: Work with technical teams to facilitate the build of the SAP S/4HANA system and conduct smoke testing.
  5. Integration Testing: Support integration testing, helping clients validate end-to-end process flows.
  6. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Provide guidance during UAT, assisting clients in validating the system against their business requirements.
  7. Deployment & Go-Live Support: Participate in deployment of the SAP S/4HANA application.
Skills and attributes for success

As a Senior Consultant specializing in S/4HANA Upgrade (RISE Migration & Conversion), you will support ERP platform upgrades across engagements with Financial Services clients.

  1. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  2. Analytical Thinking: Proficient in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  3. Teaming: A collaborative mindset that values teamwork.
  4. Client Focus: A strong commitment to client satisfaction.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  1. Over 3 years of SAP BASIS experience and 2+ years of SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade experience.
  2. Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  3. Implementation experience in end-to-end Fiori deployment.
  4. Knowledge of technical integration with upstream and downstream applications.
  5. Strong expertise in SAP BASIS, HANA database administration, and cloud architecture.
  6. Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and best practices for cloud migrations.
  7. Experience with tools such as SAP Cloud ALM, SUM, DMO.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  9. A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  1. SAP certification(s) related to S/4HANA and S/4HANA upgrade for cloud migration.
  2. Over 2 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry.
  3. Basic knowledge of ABAP development and reporting solutions.
  4. A post-graduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time.
