SAP FICO Public Cloud Support Consultant - Contract, Remote

We’re currently looking for an experienced SAP FICO Public Cloud Support Consultant to join our team and provide specialized remote production support for a global organization. Public Cloud experience is essential for this role—experience with private cloud environments isn’t the same, so we’re specifically seeking someone with hands-on knowledge of SAP Public Cloud.

Location: This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must be based in North America.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Offer expert support for the SAP FICO module in a Public Cloud environment, assisting users with issues to ensure smooth financial and controlling operations.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues within the Public Cloud, ensuring efficient performance and compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate financial operations with other business processes in the Public Cloud.
• Perform system configuration tasks in the SAP Public Cloud environment, optimizing the functionality of the FICO module.
• Lead improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial management processes within the Public Cloud framework.
• Maintain thorough documentation of support processes and procedures to ensure transparency and consistency.
• Be involved in all project phases, from planning and testing through to post-implementation support, with a strong focus on SAP FICO Public Cloud functionalities.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the SAP FICO module, including a deep understanding of financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) processes.
• Specific experience with SAP FICO in the SAP Public Cloud environment is required. Please note that private cloud or on-premise experience won’t be sufficient for this role.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter who can work independently in a remote setup, effectively managing time and staying motivated.
