Cloud88Inc is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Production Planning (PP) Consultant for an on-site role in Houston, TX. The candidate should have 10+ years of SAP experience with PP and hands-on expertise in manufacturing processes and CBC-based configurations.

The role covers end-to-end implementation, rollouts, production support, and integrations with MM, SD, QM, and related modules. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and global teams is required.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, Texas.

Responsabilidades

• Identify functional gaps and recommend standard SAP Public Cloud solutions.
• Prepare functional specs, process documentation, test scripts, and deployment deliverables.
• Configure and support PP processes including MRP, BOM, Work Centers, and Production Orders.
• Coordinate with global process owners and business stakeholders.
• Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Production Planning (PP) Consultant with 10+ years of SAP experience and strong hands‑on expertise in production planning, manufacturing processes, configuration, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations.

The ideal candidate should have experience with end‑to‑end SAP implementations, rollouts, production support, and integration with SAP MM, SD, QM, and other relevant modules. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementation

• Lead and participate in end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud PP implementation and rollout projects.
• Conduct requirement‑gathering sessions, fit‑to‑standard workshops, and business process assessments.
• Configure and validate SAP PP processes using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC), SAP Fiori, and supported configuration activities.
• Follow SAP Activate methodology across Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases.
• Identify functional gaps and recommend standard SAP Public Cloud solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scripts, and deployment deliverables.

Production Planning & Manufacturing

• Configure and support SAP Production Planning (PP) processes, including:
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Demand Management and Planned Independent Requirements (PIR).
• Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Work Centers and Routings.
• Production Versions and Production Orders.
• Capacity Planning and Production Scheduling.
• Planned Order Conversion.
• Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, and Production Confirmations.
• Shop-Floor Execution and Manufacturing Order Monitoring.
• Support Make‑to‑Stock (MTS) and Make‑to‑Order (MTO) manufacturing scenarios.
• Troubleshoot production planning exceptions, material shortages, and capacity constraints.
• Optimize manufacturing planning and execution processes using standard SAP functionality.

SAP Rollout & Deployment

• Support SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud rollouts across multiple plants, business units, and geographical locations.
• Analyze local business requirements and align them with global SAP templates.
• Support master data migration, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, and go‑live activities.
• Coordinate with global process owners and business stakeholders.
• Prepare training materials, rollout documentation, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Provide post‑go‑live support and issue resolution.

Cross‑Functional Integration & Support

• Work closely with SAP MM, SD, QM, and PP/DS teams, where applicable.
• Support integration between production planning, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, and order fulfillment.
• Validate manufacturing master data, including materials, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production versions.
• Assist with data migration using SAP‑supported migration tools and templates.
• Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, interfaces, and integration monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production planning issues and provide ongoing application support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall SAP experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, preferably in manufacturing implementations.
• At least one full‑cycle SAP implementation or rollout project.
• Strong experience in SAP PP configuration, business process design, testing, and deployment.
• Hands‑on knowledge of MRP, BOM, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, and Production Orders.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and Public Cloud configuration practices.
• Knowledge of SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Manufacturing certification.
• Experience in discrete or process manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), APIs, and integration technologies.
• Experience with SAP Public Cloud extensibility and integration concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP migration tools and production planning analytics.
• Experience supporting global SAP rollouts and multi‑plant manufacturing operations.
• Exposure to SAP PP/DS and advanced production scheduling capabilities, where applicable.
