Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a on-site contract in Berkley Heights, NJ. The role focuses on configuring and supporting FI/CO modules across GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting, with strong emphasis on integration with MM and SD and end-to-end SAP project involvement.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in IT/SAP, a solid grasp of financial processes, and proven ability to work independently within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP FICO including FI/CO modules.
• Hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO in SAP.
• Experience integrating SAP with MM and SD.
• Familiarity with testing, UAT, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules.
• Work on GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
• Configure Controlling areas including Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Develop functional specifications for technical developments.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and production support.
• Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and other SAP teams.
• Support integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Participate in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules.
• Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure Controlling areas including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Develop functional specifications for technical developments and enhancements.
• Perform system configuration, testing, and production support.
• Troubleshoot SAP FICO issues and provide root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP FICO (FI/CO)-Need 10+ exp. overall in IT/relevent domain

• Strong knowledge of SAP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with testing, UAT, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• SAP FICO certification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
• Experience with SAP implementation or migration projects is an advantage
