Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Sunnyvale, CA and Austin, TX seeks an experienced SAP FICO functional consultant to lead design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.

The role requires 5–10 years SAP FICO experience, 2–3 full lifecycle FI implementations, strong accounting knowledge, and MBA/CA. Onsite work with potential travel between Sunnyvale and Austin.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of SAP FICO functional experience specializing in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.
• Experience with 2–3 full lifecycle SAP FI module implementations.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience with strong accounting concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate degree (MBA / CA) required.
• Prior experience in high-tech or software industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP Finance modules, including FI/CO processes.
• Gather requirements, prepare functional specs, perform configurations, and support testing.
• Coordinate production transports and provide post-go-live support.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form, including presentations.

Role Description & Requirements

• 5–10 years of SAP FICO functional experience specializing in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules.
• Experience with 2–3 full lifecycle SAP FI module implementations.
• Hands-on experience gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs, performing SAP configurations, writing functional specifications for custom developments, testing, coordinating production transports, and providing post-go-live support.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience with a strong understanding of accounting concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate degree (MBA / CA) required.
• Prior experience in high-tech or software industries is preferred.

Nice to Have

• 1–2 years of RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) experience.
