Job summary

SATCON Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead a large SAP ERP transformation (Greenfield) in Lisle, IL. This contract role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and reporting to executives. Onsite Mon-Thu with remote Fridays, through 12/31/2027 (extension possible).

The candidate should have 8+ years in PM, strong SAP/ERP experience, MS Project, Azure DevOps, and a proven track record with Agile delivery. Local candidates or those in West/NW/SW suburbs preferred.

Qualifications

8+ years in project/program management (6+ with a master's) and 2+ years of leadership experience
Greenfield, non-SAP to SAP implementation with many RICEFW objects
Direct ownership of budgets on large ERP programs
Experience managing a system integrator against an SOW
Strong MS Project (critical path) and Azure DevOps familiarity
Agile delivery experience
Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Responsibilities

Plan and run large-scale IT projects covering scope, schedule, budget and risks.
Lead cutover and deployment planning for 50+ integrations.
Manage the system integrator (SOW, scope, financials).
Lead stakeholder communication and present program updates to executives.
Drive change control and SDLC documentation, and track budget forecasts versus actuals.
