Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior consultant to lead strategic engagements in the energy retail and customer service space, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience, and operational efficiencies. You will be the primary client contact for senior executives, guiding teams, and driving business impact across multiple projects.

Travel up to 100% may be required to meet client needs. A strong background in SAP, Meter to Cash, and large-scale transformation programs is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Utility Industry or Customer Transformation project delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years of functional experience with SAP.
  • Expertise in Meter to Cash operations, functions, and technologies.
  • Experience in major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years), or 6 years with Associate’s Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation and operational improvements.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for senior executives, building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve client business performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage project teams and ensure delivery meets quality, timeline, and budgetary targets.
  • Lead business development activities by identifying opportunities and representing the Utilities practice in sales pursuits.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and operational efficiencies.

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve client business performance, drive revenue growth, and support customer-centric transformation initiatives.

  • Lead business development activities byidentifyingnew opportunities, crafting proposals, andrepresentingAccenture’s Utilities practice in sales pursuits.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Utility Industry, Customer Service project delivery / Customer Transformation project delivery

  • Minimum of 3 years of functional experience in/with SAP

  • Expertise in Meter to Cash operations, functions, and technologies

  • Expertisein major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points If:
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in an advisory or consulting role

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • You’vegained the trust of your clients and partnered with them to: design businessprocess, lead design thinking workshops, develop businesscase, deliver agile projects, develop new operatingmodel, manage talent and change, co-create intellectual property

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
