Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior consultant to lead strategic engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience improvements, and operational efficiency. The role includes client liaison with senior executives, driving business development, and mentoring project teams across delivery streams.

Travel may be required; a strong background in SAP, Meter-to-Cash, and large-scale transformation programs is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utility Industry or Customer Service project delivery / transformation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of functional experience in SAP.
  • Expertise in Meter to Cash operations and related technologies.
  • Experience in major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years); if Associate’s Degree, 6 years of work experience.

  • Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service with a focus on digital transformation and operational efficiencies.
  • Serve as primary client contact for senior executives, building trusted advisory relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve client business performance and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, and operational efficiencies.

  • Drive team development and growth by mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utility Industry, Customer Service project delivery / Customer Transformation project delivery

  • Minimum of 2 years of functional experience in SAP

  • Expertisein Meter to Cash operations, functions, and technologies.

  • Expertisein major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points If:
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in an advisory or consulting role

Professional Skill Requirements:
  • You improvise and adapt to lead clients and teams through change and ambiguity

  • You’ve gained the trust of your clients and partnered with them to: design business process, lead design thinking workshops, develop business case, deliver agile projects, develop new operating model, manage talent and change, co-create intellectual property

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
