Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced SAP EPPM & PS Functional Consultant for a long-term contract in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on SAP EPPM and PS within SAP S/4HANA environments, partnering with stakeholders to design, configure, test, and support project management and portfolio management solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of SAP functional consulting, strong EPPM/PS expertise, and experience integrating SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, and PM.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Functional consulting experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management).
• Strong experience in SAP PS (Project Systems) configuration and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or support projects.
• Experience integrating SAP PS with: SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP PM.
• Strong knowledge of business processes related to project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with technical teams.
• Ability to perform system testing, UAT support, and production issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for project and portfolio management processes.
• Configure and support SAP EPPM and SAP PS modules.
• Design end-to-end solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, developers, and integration teams.
• Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and solution demonstrations.
• Support data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
• Create functional documentation, configuration documents, and training materials.
• Participate in project planning and provide best-practice recommendations.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EPPM & PS Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and SAP Project Systems (PS) with experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, test, and support project management and portfolio management solutions.
