Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice is seeking a transformation-focused SAP expert to lead design, build, and test of complex SAP custom development and extensibility projects on S/4HANA and BTP. You will guide architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor delivery teams across regions, ensuring smooth adoption of Clean Core and RAP.

You will work with Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to embed SAP Business AI where appropriate and collaborate with senior client stakeholders to drive technical

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Prior experience in Chemicals & Natural Resources industry/clients
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Business AI where applicable.
• Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies. Travel may be required for this role.
