Job summary

NIPRO Corporation - Global is seeking an experienced SAP Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements across a complex, multinational SAP ECC and S/4HANA environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise in ABAP, Java, SAP integrations, and DevOps/CI-CD practices. The SAP Developer will deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support global business processes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years SAP development in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• 3+ years Java development with Spring, REST APIs, SAP PI/PO, or SAP Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom SAP solutions using ABAP, ABAP OO, BAPIs, OData services, SAP UI5/Fiori, and Java-based extensions.
• Support ECC and S/4HANA enhancements, integrations, reports, interfaces, and APIs.
• Full-cycle development: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and SAP BTP CI/CD.
• Manage transports across development, QA, and production in a multi-country SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and security partners.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, performance issues, and integration errors in a global environment.
• Support data migration using LSMW, SAP Data Services, and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
• Create technical documentation, design specs, test scripts, and code review docs.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

NIPRO is seeking an experienced SAP Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements across a complex, multi-site, multinational SAP ECC and S/4HANA environment.

This role requires strong technical expertise in ABAP, Java, SAP integrations, and DevOps/CI-CD practices. The SAP Developer will deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support global business processes and regulatory requirements.

Security is a key part of this role. The SAP Developer will embed secure coding standards, authorization checks, data privacy safeguards, and SAP security best practices throughout the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom SAP solutions using ABAP, ABAP OO, BAPIs, OData services, SAP UI5/Fiori, and Java-based extensions
• Support SAP ECC and S/4HANA enhancements, integrations, reports, interfaces, and APIs
• Participate in full-cycle development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and SAP BTP CI/CD
• Manage transports across development, QA, and production environments in a multi-country SAP landscape
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and security partners
• Troubleshoot production incidents, performance issues, and integration errors in a global environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP development experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
• 3+ years of Java development experience, including Spring, REST APIs, SAP PI/PO, or SAP Cloud Platform
• Experience with SAP transport management and multi‑system landscapes
• Proven experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for SAP environments
• SAP certifications in ABAP, SAP HANA, or S/4HANA are highly preferred

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with ABAP, ABAP OO, BAPIs, OData, SAP UI5/Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform services
• Java development experience with Spring Boot, REST/SOAP services, Maven, or Gradle
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SAP BTP CI/CD, and automated testing tools
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, and SAP HANA
• Understanding of SAP security, secure coding, authorization checks, and compliance best practices
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, ITIL change management, and global production support
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment

This role may require occasional domestic and international travel, after‑hours support during critical incidents or major projects, and access to data centers, telecommunications rooms, manufacturing facilities, and office environments.
