Job summary

Lakeside Foods Inc. is seeking an ABAP Developer to enhance and support SAP capabilities across the organization. You will partner with SAP Analysts in an Agile environment to design, develop, test, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and value.

The role involves creating custom ABAP solutions, CDS views, Fiori front-end work, and managing SAP interfaces, with a strong focus on reliability and scalability. On-site in Manitowoc, WI; no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, with strong ABAP focus.
• Experience supporting SAP modules; EWM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions including BADIs, user exits, enhancements, and methods.
• Design and develop CDS Views and SAP backend functionality.
• Support Fiori front-end development and SAP interfaces.
• Build and maintain SAP interfaces (IDoc, XML, APIs, web services).
• Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements and new SAP functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and system defects; manage SAP transport processes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions, including BADIs, user exits, enhancements, and methods
• Design and develop CDS Views and SAP backend functionality

• Build and maintain SAP interfaces (IDoc, XML, APIs, web services)
• Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements and new SAP functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and system defectsSupport and manage SAP transport processes and release lifecycle activities
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specs, test plans, and test data
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions
• Contribute to development standards and best practices across SAP environments

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, with strong focus on ABAP
• Experience supporting SAP modules; experience with EWM is a plus

Technical Skills

• Experience with Adobe Forms (SAP Interactive Forms / PDF Forms) strongly preferred
• Experience with Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Form technologies
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools, including Claude Code, strongly preferred
• Experience with Fiori, APIs, web services, and system integrations
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, Eclipse development environment, and CDS views
• Experience building and supporting interfaces and integrations
