Job summary

Lakeside Foods seeks an ABAP Developer to enhance and support SAP capabilities, partnering with SAP Analysts and business stakeholders in an Agile setting in Manitowoc, WI. This on-site role focuses on ABAP, CDS views, Fiori, interfaces, and ongoing optimization to drive operational value.

You will design, develop, test, and implement SAP functionality, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to transport and documentation efforts within a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, with strong ABAP focus.
• Experience supporting SAP modules; experience with EWM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions, including BADIs, user exits, enhancements, and methods.
• Design and develop CDS Views and SAP backend functionality.
• Support Fiori frontend development.
• Build and maintain SAP interfaces (IDoc, XML, APIs, web services).
• Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements and new SAP functionality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and system defects.
• Support and manage SAP transport processes and release lifecycle activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including specs, test plans, and test data.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to development standards and best practices across SAP environments.

What You'll Do

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of SAP development experience, with strong focus on ABAP
• Experience supporting SAP modules; experience with EWM is a plus

Technical Skills

• Strong ABAP development experience across multiple SAP modules
• Experience with Adobe Forms (SAP Interactive Forms / PDF Forms) strongly preferred
• Experience with Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Form technologies
• Experience with AIassisted development tools, including Claude Code, strongly preferred
• Experience with Fiori, APIs, web services, and system integrations
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, Eclipse development environment, and CDS views
• Experience building and supporting interfaces and integrations
