Job summary

Aptimized is seeking a highly skilled Staff SAP CPI Integration Software Engineer to act as a hands-on technical leader for a global, large-scale S/4 HANA transformation project. You will manage CPI administration, design integration patterns, and guide a global engineering team across multiple SAP and non-SAP systems.

The role requires 8+ years of SAP experience, expertise in SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Cloud Connector, with leadership experience in a worldwide environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on SAP experience.
• Extensive work on SAP Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, SAP Cloud Connector.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA transformations (Greenfield).
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core and API wrappers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP CPI Integration Suite administration and governance.
• Design and implement integration patterns and templates using adapters (SFTP, HTTPS, OData, JMS, AMQP, Mail).
• Lead architectures connecting SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors and non-SAP systems via REST/Web Services/Java connectors.
• Configure IAM strategies (SSO/SAML).
• Govern APIs and connectivity using SAP API Management and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Lead migration from SAP PO, TIBCO, Informatica to SAP BTP.

Highly skilled Staff SAP CPI Integration Software Engineer with more than 8 years of experience, to act as a hands-on technical leader and key contributor for the integration strategy of a global, large-scale S/4 HANA transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SAP CPI - Integration Suite administration, and governance (including NEO to Cloud Foundry migration initiatives).
• Design and implement integration patterns and templates in SAP Integration Suite (CPI, Event Mesh, API Management) using various adapters (SFTP, HTTPS, OData, JMS, AMQP, Mail).
• Lead complex integration architectures connecting SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, and non-SAP applications via REST APIs, Web Services, and Java connectors.
• Configure and manage IAM strategies using IAS/IPS (SSO/SAML across multiple solutions).
• Govern APIs and connectivity using SAP API Management and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Implement and manage Advanced Event Mesh for event-driven architectures.
• Lead integration migration projects from legacy platforms (SAP PO, TIBCO, Informatica) to SAP BTP.
• Provision, configure, and govern HANA databases as per project requirements.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, utilizing GIT for version control and Cloud Transport Management for seamless deployments.
• Act as a key technical reference, guiding the engineering team, participating in product roadmap definitions, and ensuring technical integrity across the project lifecycle.

Key Technical Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with a strong background in large-scale ECC to S/4 HANA transformations (Greenfield)
• Extensive architectural and hands-on development expertise in SAP Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Strict adherence to SAP Clean Core principles, including leveraging released APIs and creating wrappers when released APIs are unavailable.
• Hands-on technical development experience using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP Build, and SAP Work Zone.
• Knowledge of and experience in developing SAP Fiori applications.
• Proven leadership experience in a global environment, with strong communication, presentation, and strategic advisory skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Fieldglass, SAP Datasphere, SAP Signavio, and ABAP Cloud.
• Relevant SAP technical certifications.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related IT discipline.
