Job summary

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced SAP MDG / S/4HANA Technical Consultant to support a large-scale master data transformation initiative in Portland, OR. Job Title: SAP MDG / S/4HANA Technical Consultant

Location: Portland, OR preferred; additional U.S. locations may be considered

Work Model: Hybrid

Contract: Through June 2027

Schedule: Regular U.S. business hours

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG / S/4HANA Technical Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise master data transformation initiative.

This is a senior, hands-on technical position requiring deep experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP development on S/4HANA, and Material Master solutions. The consultant will partner with business stakeholders, data owners, technical teams, and system integrators to design, develop, and optimize master data governance solutions.

Experience within semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, manufacturing, or global supply chain environments is highly desirable.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG solutions supporting Material Master and related master data domains.
• Perform complex hands-on ABAP development within SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop enhancements, reports, interfaces, user exits, and BADIs.
• Develop and enhance BOM (Bill of Materials) User Exits.
• Implement and maintain Material Classification and Planning Hierarchy solutions.
• Develop CDS Views, RAP-based applications, and OData services.
• Design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications.
• Create SQVI / Quick Viewer reports and related reporting solutions.
• Help establish master data governance standards, controls, and stewardship processes.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality and consistency.
• Support master data cleansing, enrichment, deduplication, and harmonization.
• Contribute to governance across material and other enterprise master data domains.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant SAP/enterprise technology experience.
• Strong hands-on ABAP development experience within S/4HANA.
• Strong technical development experience with SAP MDG.
• Hands-on SAP MDG experience with Material Master.
• Experience with Material Classification and Planning Hierarchies.
• Strong experience with CDS Views.
• Experience developing RAP-based applications.
• Experience with User Exits and BADIs.
• Experience developing SAP enhancements, interfaces, reports, and custom solutions.
• Knowledge of SQVI / Quick Viewer.
• Strong understanding of master data management and data governance principles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor industry experience.
• High-tech or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting Material Master within complex manufacturing environments.
• Global supply chain experience.
• Previous enterprise SAP S/4HANA or MDG transformation experience.
• Candidates located in or near Portland, Oregon are strongly preferred.
