Job summary

Elfonze Technologies seeks an experienced SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant with specialization in Utilities and PS integration. You will design, build, and optimize the financial controlling framework for large infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration between SAP CO and SAP PS, including budgets, overheads, asset costs and regulatory accounting.

The role requires strong knowledge of CO sub-modules, WBS element configurations, settlement rules, and cross‑module links to FI and MM.

Job Title: SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant – Utilities & PS Integration

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant with specialized experience in the Utilities sector. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize our financial controlling framework, with a specific focus on managing massive infrastructure and capital projects. You will be the primary architect responsible for the seamless integration between SAP CO and SAP PS (Project System), ensuring that project budgets, operational overheads, asset lifecycle costs, and regulatory accounting are accurately captured, tracked, and settled.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilities Cost Management: Configure and maintain core SAP CO modules—including Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-IO)—tailored specifically to utility operational models (e.g., generation, transmission, and distribution assets).
• Deep PS-CO Integration: Architect and configure the end‑to‑end integration between Project Systems and Controlling.

Integration with Power‑plan is a nice to have.

Overhead Allocation: Design and execute complex allocation cycles, Labor assessment cycles, and activity type pricing structures to distribute operational overheads accurately across utility engineering projects. Integration with WFS , concur etc.

Experience

Minimum of [e.g., 5-8] years of functional experience in SAP CO (Controlling), with at least [e.g., 3] years focused heavily on SAP PS integration and project‑driven environments.

Industry Focus

Proven hands‑on experience in the Utilities sector (Power, Water, Gas, Telecom, or large‑scale infrastructure construction).

Technical Mastery

In‑depth knowledge of SAP CO sub‑modules, WBS element financial configurations, settlement rules, statistical key figures, and the integration points linking PS, CO, FI, and MM.

Platform Experience

Strong working knowledge of [SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA] environments.

Lifecycle Experience

Participation in at least [e.g., 2] full lifecycle implementations or major financial transformation upgrades.
