Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years SAP Finance experience with hands-on configuration leadership.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and post-go-live support.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, revenue recognition, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Management Accounting.
• Own Event-Based Revenue Recognition for project-based services.
• Support cash management, banking, payments, and treasury processes.
• Troubleshoot finance postings, integrations, data issues, and period-end close.
• Manage testing, releases, documentation, and production support.
• Ensure clean-core compliance and fit-to-standard configuration.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, Integration, and implementation teams.

Location: Chicago, IL Remote (Only EST and CST time zone)

Duration: 12 Months

Role Summary

Lead the configuration, stabilization, and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance, ensuring accurate financial processes, revenue recognition, compliance, and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead configuration across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Management Accounting.
• Own Event-Based Revenue Recognition for project-based services.
• Support cash management, banking, payments, and treasury processes.
• Troubleshoot finance postings, integrations, data issues, and period-end close.
• Manage testing, releases, documentation, and production support.
• Ensure clean-core compliance and fit-to-standard configuration.

Required Qualifications
