Job Description: SAP Cloud Data Solutions Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an SAP Cloud Data Solutions Architect with SAP BW and SAP Datasphere migration experience, along with a strong background in consulting, sales, and commercial strategy to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a cloud solutions sales professional focusing on data analytics offerings, capable of serving as an overlay sales partner to our core sales team. The candidate should have experience in proposal development, responding to RFPs, drafting SOWs, and closing complex cloud data deals with enterprise clients.

Technical and Professional Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and proficiency in SAP BW to SAP Datasphere migration strategies, including legacy data platform to cloud migration.
• Strong consulting and commercial strategy skills for selling cloud-based data analytics solutions.
• Proven sales record in enterprise data platform deals.
• Experience in creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and developing SOWs.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP Data Analytics tools.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, or Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts for SAP cloud data solutions, supporting business development managers and sales teams.
• Create proposals, respond to RFPs, and develop SOWs aligned with client needs.
• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration workflows, and implement CDC and delta loads.
• Lead SAP BW to SAP Datasphere migration projects and leverage SAP Data Analytics tools.
• Plan and execute migration of legacy data platforms to cloud environments.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
• Ensure data governance and security compliance using tools like Collibra, Informatica, and SAP Datasphere.

Minimum Technical Requirements

• Experience with SAP BW, BOBJ, SAP Data Analytics, SAP Datasphere, and migrations.
• Proficiency in proposals, RFP responses, and SOW development.
• Mandatory expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, or Redshift.
