Job summary

JPS Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd in Indiana is seeking an SAP CAP Lead Developer to drive design, development and governance of SAP CAP-based solutions on SAP BTP. You will mentor teams and coordinate with clients to implement best practices and scalable architectures.

You will work across S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and integrations, building data models with CDS, deploying to HANA, and applying CAPM principles. Expect collaboration with architects, developers and business stakeholders in an Agile

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience with SAP Business Application Studio, CAPM and Work Zone (adv.)
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP components and CAP development practices
• Experience with data modeling using CDS and deploying to HANA
• Proficiency in Node.js and Java for CAPM-based development
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Mentor, advise and assist junior team members with their challenges
• Participate in application design, focusing on development, analytics, and integration with the SAP Business Technology Platform
• Support the customers in their business, process, and technology designs by aligning the work of a team of architects from a technical point of view
• Execute software design, development, and implementation of new functionalities and enhancements to business systems (mainly S/4Hana, and SuccessFactors)
• Able to process complex business requirements into a manageable and executable solutions
• Provide guidance and participate in building Work Zone workspaces
• Prepare data model and technical and functional specifications
• Work closely with cross functional, internal and external, business clients
• Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment
• Solid understanding of Integration principles and patterns, technologies, and protocols (SFTP, Encryption, REST, ODATA, SFAPI, SOAP, XML, JSON, IDOC Message queues, Identity management, SAML, OAUTH)
• Hands on with SAP Business Process Automation
• Clear understanding of DevOps, CI/CD concepts and Pipeline deployment and setup
• Knowledge of ABAP Proxies: Inbound and Outbound Proxy – able to communicate with SAP Basis and identify requirements
