Job summary

SRISAI LIVE EDUCARE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced SAP BO Developer (Freelance) with admin skills to lead BI reporting and universe design initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing WebI reports, managing BO universes with UDT/IDT, optimizing SQL queries, and collaborating with stakeholders in an Agile SDLC environment. Remote-friendly, strong communication essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, BI, reporting or analytics development.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 development.
• Extensive experience developing complex Web Intelligence (WebI) reports.
• Strong expertise in BusinessObjects Universe Design and Development.
• Hands-on experience with Universe Design Tool (UDT) and/or Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and modify complex existing Universes and report queries.
• Moderate to Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries.
• Good understanding of SQL query performance and optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing and dimensional data modelling concepts, including facts, dimensions, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Ability to understand database structures and data relationships and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Experience working with large data volumes and performance-sensitive BI reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
• Experience using JIRA for work tracking and Agile delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple development and support priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop BI reports and dashboards using WebI.
• Design, modify, and optimize Universes using UDT/IDT.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot performance issues in large data sets and BI reports.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile SDLC environment.
